We strive to get our patients in and out of the office within a reasonable amount of time. Generally, our patients spend about 1 hour at their appointments, however testing and extenuating circumstances will sometimes add to this time. We care for our patients like family and ask for your patience and understanding if we have to extend our time with someone which can lead to delays in the schedule.
At your initial consultation, you will meet with a technician who will perform vision screening, etc., to get you ready to see Dr. Price. Dr. Price will meet with you and determine if any testing and/or dilation is necessary. Once testing is completed and/or you are dilated, you will have time with Dr. Price to review everything and finish the examination in order to plan a course of treatment.
Yes, it is always in your best interest for Dr. Price to review your ocular history. We understand that sometimes records are not always available at the first visit. A comprehensive examination will be performed with or without the records. If you are unable to supply previous medical records prior to your first visit, please understand that you may be asked to have testing repeated in our office.
